Southern African Tourism Update - published since 1991 by Now Media - is the region's only independent locally published and produced tourism publication that seeks to inform readers on developments and products on offer in the region.

Sent to key overseas tour and travel organisers with an interest in Southern Africa as a destination, SATSA members, South African Airways, SA Tourism offices, SA embassies and consulates, Tourism Update is a monthly magazine with several bumper issues, including ITB, Indaba, Conferences and Incentives, Neighbouring Countries and World Travel Market.

The publication, which won a Mpasa Sappi Pica Award for Best Business-To-Business Magazine - Hospitality, Travel and Tourism in 2003 and 2004, is distributed in over 80 countries and ABC-audited circulation figure of 3923 for the period July - September 2009. Tourism Update is also the only inbound Southern African tourism trade publication whose circulation claims are verified by the Audit Bureau of Circulations.
