About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic advertising sales representative to join our team at EngineerIT. Based in Johannesburg, you will be responsible for selling ad space in our publication to businesses in the ICT industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying and securing new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and face-to-face meetings
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and continued business
Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals to potential advertisers
Negotiating rates and closing deals
Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities and reporting regularly to management
Staying current with market trends and industry news to ensure you are equipped to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients
Requirements
At least 2-3 years of experience in advertising sales
Strong knowledge of the IT industry and its products and services
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
