About the Role
We are looking for a talented and ambitious journalist to join our editorial team. As a junior to intermediate journalist, you will be responsible for researching and writing news stories, features, and analysis on a wide range of topics related to the travel industry. You will work closely with the editorial team to ensure that all content is accurate, timely, and of the highest quality. You will also:
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in the travel industry.
Develop and maintain relationships with industry experts, stakeholders, and sources.
Ensure that all content meets the editorial standards of Travel News.
Collaborate with the editorial team on the planning and execution of editorial projects.
Support the editorial team with administrative tasks.
Requirements
A degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
Some experience in travel industry media, such as internships, freelancing, or work experience.
A passion for travel and an interest in the travel industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
