Energize is looking for a motivated advertising business development representative based in Johannesburg to sell ad space in our publication to businesses in the energy industry. This role is a freelance position.
Key responsibilities:
Identifying and securing new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and meetings
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and reporting to management
Staying updated on industry trends
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably advertising/energy sector sales
Strong knowledge of the energy industry and its market dynamics
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Valid driving licence, own car, laptop and internet connection
